Occoquan Swimming, Inc. (OCCS) is seeking candidates to join an exceptional team of coaches, and more in Northern Virginia.
Occoquan Swimming is a 501c3 non-profit swimming organization overseen by a Board of Directors with policy guidance from the CEO and a staff of 20 coaches along with dozens of instructors and guards plus administration professionals to more than 600 competitive swimmers and hundreds of participants in swimming lessons. six swimming pools in Prince William County and Fauquier County, Virginia (suburb of Washington, DC).
Over the past five years, the OCCS has grown exponentially in number and performance. We are looking to add to our already exceptional staff to continue our high quality teaching and positive training environment. We are proud of the staff we currently have and their loyalty to Occoquan Swimming, with many of our staff having committed to coaching over the past 10 years.
Having multiple needs can provide the right person(s) with a full-time multitasking position. The new employee will be responsible for leading groups of age group swimmers (various levels 6+) through seasonal and professional progression of skills, training and education relating to the career development of each swimmer. Communication with team members, administrators, and parents is necessary as well as working directly with the CEO/Head Coach to ensure consistent program operations. Plus, there are options to add to your salary with additional team duties as well as work at one of our facilities: Supervisor, Swim Instructor, Marketing, Web Presence, Dryland Training, Event Management. team, communications, fundraising, competition management, accounting, aquatic fitness programming, lifeguard training, pool management and much more.

Compensation is extremely competitive and will be based on experience as well as the responsibilities the candidate is willing to take on. Options for 401K and health insurance are available. We have one full-time position as well as several part-time positions that we are looking to fill this summer to start in fall 2022.
