2022 Parks Summer Recreation Program Details Released

We have information on events and activities happening this summer through the Boston Department of Parks and Recreation.

Boston Parks Summer Fitness Series

Free fitness classes at neighborhood parks presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, in partnership with the Boston Parks and Recreation Department and the Boston Public Health Commission. Classes include: Afrobeat Bootcamp, Barre, Cardio Dance, Chair Yoga, Dance Fit, Fusion Fit, HIIT, Line Dancing, POUND Fitness, Pre- and Postnatal Friendly Barre, Bodybuilding, Tai Chi, Walking Group, Yoga, Zumba and 305 Dance .


SUMMER SPORTS CENTERS

Our sports centers offer free alternatives to summer camps for Boston youth. Each site offers lessons in several popular sports from July 5 to August 19. All sports centers are free to Boston residents and open to boys and girls ages 7-14. Parents can enroll their children for a single week or for the whole summer. .

Please note: The enrichment program will no longer be offered on Mondays. Instead, we will offer an educational component during regular program days.

  • The BNSL High School League is a 7-on-7 soccer league for players in grades 9-12. Teams will play two games per week plus the playoffs.
