There’s nothing like dinner and a show, and luckily for Mississauga residents, the Living Arts Center (LAC) offers both.
As one of the city’s top arts and culture venues for 25+ years, the Living Arts Center puts on a steady stream of fun and lively shows – from plays and musicals to comedy shows. humor and concerts. Upcoming performances feature Shaun Majumder, Colin & Brad, The Nutcracker, Johnny Reid and more.
Guests can also enjoy musical theater events, as well as shows hosted by the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra (MSO). The MSO offers themed shows featuring opera, classical, and music from Star Wars, among others.
Not only will this be another eventful year for the Living Arts Centre, but they are also celebrating their 25and birthday this year! More details on what BAC has planned for their anniversary will be coming in the fall, so be sure to stay tuned.
The center itself is fully accessible, being located close to the city’s downtown core, connected to public transit, and within walking distance of all of Square One’s major shops and businesses.
LAC’s parking garage is located off Living Arts Drive and is free on evenings and weekends. The heated ground brings you directly to the center atrium for even more convenience and accessibility.
The atrium is a staple of the beautiful interiors the Living Arts Center is known for. Boasting floor-to-ceiling windows, beautiful artwork and the signature grand staircase, it provides the perfect backdrop for any event at the center (and for those Instagram photos too!).
Guests planning a night out at the Living Arts Center should arrive well before the curtain rolls – not only to beat the crowds, but to experience all the venue has to offer, including dining options, concession stands , downloading the show poster to your mobile device, and (sometimes) picking up show merchandise.
One of the center’s most popular amenities is the LIVE Restaurant, which offers a fine dining experience to savor before most shows. The restaurant features artistic decor, a lounge ambiance perfect for cocktails or networking events, and customizable table arrangements that can accommodate up to 120 people. Reservations are open now by calling 905-615-3200 ext. 6116, or by e-mail [email protected].
